Known issues

Known limitations of Coordinate Conversion are listed below.

ArcGIS Pro

  • Import functionality should look through an Excel workbook to allow the user to select which worksheet to import
  • If there are points in the List that have fields different than other points in the List, only the fields from the top point are exported to FC/SHP/KML
  • Right-click in the List loses selection of multiple points
  • Coordinate Conversion does not handle out of bounds clicks like Distance and Direction in ArcGIS Pro
  • Confirm Removal? dialog box does not support Dark Theme
  • Exporting to feature class when using a custom Display Coordinate causes ArcGIS Pro to become unresponsive
  • When UTM or MGRS coordinates are collected directly from a grid corner they are rounded down when used again
  • Select tool does not select points that were imported from a CSV file in ArcGIS Pro
  • Coordinate Conversion add-in gives "please enter a valid coordinate" for table of valid coordinates
  • Coordinate Conversion click-selection of coordinate locations on map should match list click behavior
  • Coordinate Conversion selection of added coordinate points on maps needs bigger tolerance
  • Coordinate Conversion input coordinate -- formatting lost in Northern Hemisphere
  • Coordinate Conversion: UTM rounding issue
  • An output MGRS or USNG coordinate is not provided in the polar regions.
  • Coordinate Conversion expects components of latitude and longitude input values to be balanced

  • When selecting a coordinate that has identical coordinates in the list, the point is not highlighted on the map
  • Select tool does not select points that were imported from a CSV file
  • Coordinate Conversion click-selection of coordinate locations on map should match list click behavior
  • Coordinate Conversion selection of added coordinate points on maps needs bigger tolerance
  • Coordinate Conversion input coordinate -- formatting lost in Northern Hemisphere
  • An output MGRS/USNG coordinate is not provided in the polar regions.
  • Coordinate Conversion: UTM rounding issue (1 meter off)
  • Coordinate Conversion expects components of latitude and longitude input values to be balanced
