Overview

AED Reporter is a configuration of the Crowdsource Reporter application that can be used by the general public to identify the location of automated external defibrillators (AEDs) in the community. Fire personnel can also configure Crowdsource Manager and Operations Dashboard for ArcGIS to review AEDs submitted by the general public and assign them to staff responsible for further evaluation.

An AED is a portable electronic device that automatically diagnoses the life threatening cardiac arrhythmias and is able to treat them through defibrillation. Defibrillators are typically found in office buildings, shopping centers, airports, restaurants, hotels, stadiums, educational facilities, and other locations where people congregate.

Requirements

To deploy AED Reporter with the ArcGIS Solutions Deployment Tool requires specific technical experience and software.
