Central GIS functions are configured to support the use of GIS and related technology across the entire organization. Content shared in these groups should have a defined level of service and support other functional configurations of ArcGIS Online across the local government (Fire Department, Assessor's Office, Water Utility, and so on).
To create central GIS groups, complete the following steps:
- Using your Administrator account, create the following group in your ArcGIS Online organization.
