Overview

Events Calendar is a configuration of ArcGIS and a JavaScript application that allows the general public and visitors to discover festivals, shows, concerts and other events occurring in a community. The general public and visitors can check out the calendar of events, where each event is located, and then add the event to their calendar before scheduling a visit or trip.

The Events Calendar application is typically used by tourism agencies, planning and economic development departments, parks departments, and/or other local government organizations to promote events in their community. Event information can be accessed by the general public and visitors from a smartphone, tablet, and desktop computer.

  • An enhancement that allows users to clear the current search results on the search panel.
  • An enhancement that allows users to interactively define the buffer distance when searching.
  • An enhancement that allows users to set the search location by clicking on the map.
  • Added the "Yes"/"No" values for activity searching as configurable items in the config.js file.

  • A series of enhancements that improve support for custom pop-ups and numeric 1000 separators in pop-up.
  • An enhancement that improves map navigation and zoom behavior when a search is executed.
  • A resolution to a bug that caused layers to be queried unnecessarily.
  • A resolution to a bug that prevented the legend from displaying correctly when symbols were updated in the map.
  • A resolution to a bug that caused the pop-up header to display incorrectly on smartphone devices.
