Overview

Land Use Inquiry can be used by the general public, developers, and real estate professionals to identify land use and zoning designations that impact the use of land. Current land use describes how land is currently used in a community. It is the foundation for future land use designations; which guide future planning activities and illustrate what the community would like to have happen. Zoning designations legally control how properties, and structures on them, can and cannot be used.

This application is a configuration of ArcGIS Online that can accessed from a smartphone, tablet, and desktop computer. Organizations can deploy a single application that includes current land use, future land use and zoning; or deploy multiple applications (for example, Land Use Inquiry, Zoning Inquiry) that only include current and future land use in one application and zoning in another.
