Overview

Repeat and Near Repeat Analysis is part of the predictive mapping theory that has been extensively researched in recent years at University College London's Jill Dando Institute of Security and Crime Science. The Repeat and Near Repeat Analysis toolset leverages that research by providing three tools that are intended to be used together to support workflows for identifying, visualizing, and predicting repeat and near repeat patterns.

  • Export Incident CSV
  • Repeat and Near Repeat Classification
  • Calculate Prediction Zones

To get started, download the ArcGIS Solution and place the contents on your computer. Then, you can configure the Repeat and Near Repeat Analysis in your environment using the sample data. In doing so, you'll learn how to identify near repeat victimization patterns and create near repeat prediction zones.
