Residential Comp Finder is a configuration of ArcGIS and a JavaScript application that can be used by the general public, real estate agents, and appraisers to find comparable sales and related property information. This application can also be published inside your organization for appraisers to make equitable valuation decisions. The application can be deployed by government agencies and accessed from a desktop computer, tablet, and smartphone.
The Residential Comp Finder application can be used to narrow a search of property sales by defining a price range, year built, and living area. The resulting list of properties sold can then be used to help determine the fair market value of a subject or prospective property. Combining residential sales and property information with demographic information facilitates better decisions and assists with equitable property valuation.
