The add-ins share a common code base and configuration file. To function correctly, the same version of each add-in should be installed on your machine. Remove any previous versions you have installed on your machine and back up the configuration file before installing the add-ins below.

Attribute Assistant Add-In

The Attribute Assistant Add-In uses a series of predefined methods to automatically populate attributes when updating or adding new features to the geodatabase. For example, one method populates a unique identifier for each pole. Other methods help you maintain the integrity of your asset data by populating a last editor, and last update date on each feature.

To install the Attribute Assistant Add-In, complete the following steps:

1. Download the Attribute Assistant.
2. Close any open or running ArcGIS applications.
3. Using Windows Explorer, browse to the folder you downloaded the add-in to.
4. Double-click AttributeAssistant.esriAddIn to run the installer.
5. Click the Install Add-In button.
