The Public Land Survey Editing map also includes a toolset that can be used to publish a series of PLSS layers in the Cadastral National Spatial Data Infrastructure (CadNSDI) data format. These publication layers can also be used as a foundation for tax mapping and other boundary inventories in local and state government agencies.
To access the Parcel Publication tools, complete the following steps:
- In ArcCatalog or the Catalog window in ArcMap, browse to Application\Parcel Publication Scripts.tbx toolbox and open the CADNSDI Publishing tool.
- Select the CadastralReference feature dataset included in the download as the target for the output.
- Select your Parcel Fabric parcels class as the target for the input.
- Click OK.
