Overview

As-Built Editing and Analysis

As-Built Editing and Analysis can be used to map and manage asset information using a geometric network. It can also be used to perform connected isolation traces.

When you download the As-Built Editing and Analysis solution, you'll find the following files:

  • AttributeAssistant.esriAddIn provides a series of predefined methods to automatically populate attributes (for example, assign valve size based on the gas main feature it intersects) when features are created and updated.
  • GasUtilityNetworkTools.esriAddIn provides the Gas Utility Editing and Gas Utility Trace toolbars to streamline creating and tracing the gas network.
ArcREST Required Python package to add features to a feature service used in the PublishTracing toolbox.
Maps and GDBs AsBuiltEditingAndAnalysis.mxd A map document used to edit and perform analysis on the gas network.
TraceResults.mxd A map document used to publish the Trace Results feature service.
Analysis.gdb A sample geodatabase with the schema for the trace results.
NapervilleGas.gdb A sample geodatabase with sample data and additional layers required for the Attribute Assistant Add-In and editing workflows.
PublishTracing.tbx A toolbox with tools to publish the trace results to a feature service, delete features from a feature service, and select data with a group layer.
