The combined sewer overflow (CSO) notification solution allows a utility to inform environmental agencies and the public when a CSO event occurs. Using the interactive map, the utility can share the location of the CSO and precautions to take during the event. Additionally, the CSO layer maintains a record of events that can be used to aid in the completion of environmental reports.
The CSO Notification map is designed to be shared with the public as either a standalone application or embedded in a utility's website. When hosted on ArcGIS Online, the service is scalable and will not impact the utility's office network when under high demand.
CSO Notification requires specific technical experience and software.
