Issues addressed

The Coordinate Conversion June 2019 release fixes the following issues:

BugDescription

Coordinate Conversion input coordinate -- formatting lost in Northern Hemisphere

Exporting to feature class when using a custom Display Coordinate causes ArcGIS Pro to become unresponsive

Coordinate Conversion does not handle out of bounds clicks like Distance and Direction in ArcGIS Pro

Right-click in the List loses selection of multiple points

After right-click > View details, you must close the details window before interacting with the Coordinate Conversion pane

View Details window should be resizable

Columns in the View Details window in ArcGIS Pro should use 100% of the space in the window

View Details information is cut off in the title in ArcMap

Points from the List should display an empty View Details window, instead of saying "No Data"

Output coordinate layer should show coordinate value as header, display field in popup, not 0

List box should be populated in chronological order

Points [graphics] in the map display cannot be selected

Crash when exporting to KMZ on ArcGIS Pro 2.3

Progress dialog does not close on import with custom format

Known issues

Known limitations of Coordinate Conversion are listed below.

ArcGIS Pro

  • Import functionality should look through an Excel workbook to allow the user to select which worksheet to import
  • If there are points in the List that have fields different than other points in the List, only the fields from the top point are exported to FC/SHP/KML
  • Confirm Removal? dialog box does not support Dark Theme
  • When UTM or MGRS coordinates are collected directly from a grid corner they are rounded down when used again
  • Select tool does not select points that were imported from a CSV file in ArcGIS Pro
  • Coordinate Conversion add-in gives "please enter a valid coordinate" for table of valid coordinates
  • Coordinate Conversion click-selection of coordinate locations on map should match list click behavior
  • Coordinate Conversion selection of added coordinate points on maps needs bigger tolerance
  • Coordinate Conversion input coordinate -- formatting lost in Northern Hemisphere
  • Coordinate Conversion: UTM rounding issue
  • An output MGRS or USNG coordinate is not provided in the polar regions.
  • Coordinate Conversion expects components of latitude and longitude input values to be balanced

ArcMap

  • Import functionality should look through an Excel workbook to allow the user to select which worksheet to import
  • If there are points in the List that have fields different than other points in the List, only the fields from the top point are exported to FC/SHP/KML
  • When selecting a coordinate that has identical coordinates in the list, the point is not highlighted on the map
  • Select tool does not select points that were imported from a CSV file
  • Coordinate Conversion click-selection of coordinate locations on map should match list click behavior
  • Coordinate Conversion selection of added coordinate points on maps needs bigger tolerance
  • Coordinate Conversion input coordinate -- formatting lost in Northern Hemisphere
  • An output MGRS/USNG coordinate is not provided in the polar regions.
  • Coordinate Conversion: UTM rounding issue (1 meter off)
  • Coordinate Conversion expects components of latitude and longitude input values to be balanced
  • The diaeresis and double acute accent symbol for seconds mark are not supported
