Movement Analysis

Movement Analysis is a configuration of ArcGIS that allows intelligence analysts to identify activities of interest through real-time analysis. Intelligence Analysts can identify suspicious activity patterns based on a variety of intelligence sources.

The real-time analysis can be for a variety of purposes like:

  • Understanding patterns in individual and organizational activity
  • Identify patterns in movement and activity around suspicious locations
  • Alert based on activity type and location

The Movement Analysis template allows analysts to perform pattern of life analysis across a wide variety of data sources.

  • GPS and other sensor locations
  • Social Media activity
  • Human reporting and other observed behavior
  • Other specialized sensor data
