Overview
The Vehicle Check Point template is an ArcGIS Pro project template for creating vehicle check point plans. Check points are set up to control the movement of vehicles, personnel, and material; and prevent illegal or enemy activity. They are used to prevent trafficking in contraband and stop the movement of known or suspected belligerents. Check point operations contribute to the commander’s information and intelligence collection process. Additionally, they assist friendly forces in observing and understanding the behavioral patterns of the local populace.
This template illustrates how you can:
- Explore the example vehicle check point plan.
- Add additional feature types to meet your specific needs.
- Utilize the MIL-STD-2525D Joint Military Symbology schema.
- Create a vehicle check point plan.
- Share the plan with others.
Requirements
Vehicle Check Point requires specific technical experience and software. Minimum system requirements for ArcGIS Pro can be found on the Support website.
Vehicle Check Point is supported on ArcGIS 10.0, 10.1, 10.2, 10.3, and 10.4, as well as ArcGIS Pro 1.0.
