The release notes for the most recent release of the Electric Utility Network Configuration are described below.

February 2019

The February 2019 release of the Electric Utility Network v2.0.1 project package includes the following updates to the data model:

  • Removed subnetwork diagram templates from the Subnetworks layer.

August 2018

The August 2018 release of the Electric Network Editor v2.0 project package includes the following update to the data model:

  • Updated the Electric Network Editor maps to resolve an issue with group templates.

June 2018

The June 2018 release of the Electric Utility Network Configuration includes the following updates to the data model and maps:

General updates

  • First release of electric transmission domain
  • Configuration redesigned to accommodate a combined distribution and transmission networks
  • Added vertical coordinate system NADV88 (Height) ft
  • Removed all rules mapping to Unknown asset types
  • Conditional barrier added to Subnetwork Definitions where Network Category is equal to Network Category Ground

Known issues

Known limitations of the Electric Utility Network Configuration are listed below. Software developers are working to fix these issues in a future release of the configuration.

  • If you deploy Electric Distribution and Electric Transmission in the same network, the circuit group layers in the SubnetLine class will have an incorrect definition expression. The expressions will have to be adjusted to the appropriate tier subtype codes as follows:
    • Electric Distribution tiers:
      • Medium Voltage—Subtype code 1
      • Low Voltage—Subtype code 2
    • Electric Transmission tiers:
      • AC Voltage—Subtype code 3
      • DC Voltage—Subtype code 4
  • The ArcGIS Solutions Deployment Tool does not support deploying maps and apps using the utility network simple map service. Solutions deployed will use the utility network feature service that has been published to your organization.
