Overview

Public Information is a configuration of Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS that can be used by the general public to review authoritative emergency information and understand the status of an incident or event.

Requirements

To deploy Public Information with the ArcGIS Solutions Deployment Tool requires specific software.

What you get

Public Information can be deployed in your ArcGIS organization without downloading the solution. When you deploy Public Information in your organization, you'll find the following:

Map Public Information A map used to display authoritative information about an incident or current event.
Feature layers IncidentLocations A feature layer used to store incident locations and related information.
IncidentLocations_active_public A public feature layer view used to share active incident locations and related information.
EmergencyShelters A feature layer used to store emergency shelters and maintain their status.
EmergencyShelters_public A public feature layer view used to share information about emergency shelters and their status.
Evacuations A feature layer used to store evacuation routes, areas, and their status.
Evacuations_active_public A public feature layer view used to view active evacuation routes, areas, and their status.
RoadClosures A feature layer used to store current and planned road blocks, road closures with location affected, and detour routes.
RoadClosures_public A public feature layer view used to share current and planned road blocks, road closures with location affected, and detour routes.
Living Atlas layer USA Weather Warnings and Watches A Living Atlas layer used to store National Weather Service (NWS) watches, warnings, and advisories.

  • Support for ArcGIS Pro 2.4
  • Revised RoadClosures feature layer and feature layer views schema to support the Common Internet File Structure (CIFS).
  • Added RoadClosures_active feature layer view to support historical archiving of road closures, road blocks and detours.
  • Update the RoadClosures feature layer view with RoadClosures_active_public feature layer view.
  • Replaced RoadClosures_public feature layer view with RoadClosures_active_public feature layer view.
  • Added a Public Incident field to IncidentLocations feature layer and feature layer views to support the filtering of incidents available in public facing applications.
  • Added a fire incident domain type to IncidentLocations feature layer and feature layer views.
  • Removed all required fields from the Evacuations feature layer and feature layer views schema.
  • A resolution to bug in the Public Information application where subscriber content from the map is not displayed in the application (BUG-000121665).
