Publish application on your server

Published Adopta by downloading the application, moving the application files to a web server, and registering the application with your ArcGIS Online organization.

To publish Adopta as an application, complete the following steps:

Start your Web AppBuilder (Developer Edition) and deploy your app.

Tip:

As you deploy your Web AppBuilder (Developer Edition) application, you may need to modify your proxy file to include references to services used in this application (for example, http://utility.arcgis.com). In addition, use a fully qualified path (for example, http://myserver.arcgis.com/proxy/proxy.ashx) in the proxy tag of the config.json file.

Note:

Add the application to your ArcGIS Online organization before completing the remaining steps.
Browse to the Adopta application and edit the item details:
- Name: Adopta.
- Thumbnail image: Your image.
- Description: The Adopt a Catch Basin application is used by government agencies and other organizations to engage the public in the operations and maintenance of natural and man-made assets.
- Tags: Local Government, Adopta, Catch Basin.
Share the application with everyone.
Begin using Adopta by browsing to http://<your server>/AdoptaaCatchBasin/index.html.
