Summary
Using parameters from a configuration file, this tool is used to import records from a table and geocode them into a feature class or a web layer.
Usage
- Requires as input a configuration (.ini) file generated by the Configure Record Import (XY) or Configure Record Import (Addresses) tool.
- Use this tool to set up automated imports of records in tables from external sources such as a records management system (RMS) database, an Microsoft Excel spreadsheet, or common-separated values (.csv) file.
- This tool identifies records in a standalone table with XY coordinates or address information and creates spatial features which are then appended to a feature class or a web layer.
