Create map

ArcGIS Web AppBuilder application consumes maps that are accessible to the general public and named users in your ArcGIS organization. Create a Health Resource Inventory map and share it with public health staff. They can then access the application on their desktop computers.

  2. Create a map used to find opioid treatment facilities, by completing the following workflows:

    • Configure pop-up for the HealthFacilities, MedicalFacilities, and PrescriptionDrugLocations layers using the list of field attributes option.
    • Save the map as Health Resource Inventory and add the following tags and summary:
      • Tags: Health Facilities, Medical Facilities, Homeless, Prescription Drug Facilities, Health, Human Services, Public Health.
      • Summary: A map used in the Health Resource Inventory application to inventory homeless, drug treatment, and other health and human service providers in a community.
  3. Browse to the map and edit the item details:
    • Thumbnail image: Your image.
    • Description: A map used in the Health Resource Inventory application to inventory homeless, drug treatment, and other health and human service providers in a community.
  4. Share the map with public health staff.
  5. Set map options by disabling Routing and the Measuring Tool. Under Find Locations, enable both By Address and By Layer, before choosing a feature layers you want to be searchable.
