3D Basemaps can be used to author high-quality 3D basemaps and visualize above-ground and under-ground utilities. It leverages existing data (for example, lidar, building footprints, and underground utilities) and can be used by GIS analysts to streamline the creation and maintenance of a 3D basemap for their community. The result is a collection of 3D layers which can be used to serve as a 3D basemap for desktop, mobile and web mapping applications.


To deploy 3D Basemaps requires specific software.
