To configure the rules for the Attribute Assistant Add-In, you will need to have a DynamicValue and GenerateID table in your editing geodatabase. These tables define the attribute automation rules and when the rules are run.

Configuration tables

To set up these tables in your editing environment, complete the following steps:

1. In ArcMap or ArcCatalog, browse to the Attribute Assistant download > Maps and GDBs > ConfigTables.gdb.
2. Within the ConfigTables.gdb, copy the empty DynamicValue and GenerateID tables and paste them to your editing geodatabase.
3. Configure the DynamicValue and GenerateID tables to meet your editing workflow requirements.
