The ArcGIS Dashboards application consumes maps that are accessible to named users in your ArcGIS Online organization. The Water Quality Status map enables users to determine the status of water quality monitoring efforts, and quickly get a sense of the status of water quality in various waterbodies across the state.

To create an ArcGIS Online water quality status map, complete the following steps:

1. Sign in to your ArcGIS Online organization.
2. Create a Water Quality Monitoring group for staff in your State Government organization.
3. Create a map to monitor water quality, by completing the following workflow
   • Choose a basemap.
   • Add the WaterQuality layer to the map.
   • Configure pop-ups for the WaterQuality layer.
   • Save the map as Water Quality Status.
4. Save the map and share it with your Water Quality Monitoring group.
