Using a raster with signal strength, the Coverage Processing geoprocessing model can be used to create a simplified view of voice coverage. The results can then be shared with your organization to view the coverage area by signal strength.

Coverage processing

To run the Coverage Processing geoprocessing model, complete the following steps:

1. Open the CoverageProcessing.mxd.
2. Open the ArcCatalog window, and navigate to Coverage Processing > Maps and GDBs > CoverageProcessing.tbx.
3. Open the Process Signal Strength geoprocessing model and run the model using the sample data or your own signal strength data.
4. The resulting layer that will be added to the map is the smoothed coverage layer categorized by coverage quality.
