Overview
Ad hoc information, whether it be vegetation issues, unsafe conditions, or general network notes, is important to know at an organization. The map notes solution allows staff to record this information using a mobile device and view the results in a web app.
Map Notes is a configuration of ArcGIS for use in the field or office. Office staff can access this solution on a web browser using an ArcGIS configurable web application template and field crews can access it on a smartphone or tablet with the ArcGIS Collector application.
