Set up editing and analysis map

The As-Built Editing and Analysis map is used to add, edit, and analyze the gas network. Before you begin editing, add the Attribute Assistant, Gas Utility Trace, and Gas Utility Editing toolbars to the map so you can access the tools and features of the add-ins.

As-Built Editing and Analysis map

To add the toolbars, complete the following steps:

  1. Within the As-Built Editing and Analysis download, browse to the Maps and GDBs folder and open AsBuiltEditingAndAnalysis.mxd.
  2. In ArcMap, open the Attribute Assistant toolbar by browsing to Customize > Toolbars > Attribute Assistant.
  3. In ArcMap, open the Gas Utility Editing toolbar by browsing to Customize > Toolbars > Gas Utility Editing.
  4. In ArcMap, open the Gas Utility Trace Tools toolbar by browsing to Customize > Toolbars > Gas Utility Trace Tools.
  5. Begin using the editing map.
