Functional groups can be added to your organization to address departmental or business needs at your water utility. Typically, the structure of the functional groups aligns closely with your organizational structure and the services you are responsible for delivering. You can configure one or more of the functional groups outlined below in your organization.
To create functional groups, complete the following steps:
- Using an browser, sign into your organization with your administrator account.
- Optionally, Create an account for each individual that will own a functional area in your organization (for example, Field Operations and Customer Service). The new accounts will own the functional groups and be responsible for developing and cataloging items that meet their organizational needs. Each of these accounts should be a publisher role in your organization. The account responsible for the specific function you'd like to configure in your organization should complete the following steps:
