Stormwater batch job

Below is a list of the data quality-control checks, broken out by groups, included in the Stormwater batch job delivered with Data Reviewer for Water Utilities. These preconfigured checks are just a sample of the important checks that can be used for validating, maintaining, and ensuring the integrity of stormwater data.

Group name Description
Composite Check Validates features based on multiple conditions. This check is configured to identify storm discharge points that do not intersect the storm gravity mains or virtual drain lines. Orphan discharge points are identified as errors.
Domain Checks Validates feature and table attributes according to values specified by the coded value and range domains of the geodatabase.
Duplicate Geometry Checks Identifies co-located storm manhole, cleanout, and inlet points.
Execute SQL Checks This group contains checks configured to identify the following:
  • Storm gravity mains with upstream elevations less than their downstream elevations
  • Storm manholes with invert elevations greater than their rim elevations
Geometry on Geometry Checks This group contains checks configured to identify the following:
  • Orphan storm inlets
  • Orphan storm manholes
  • Overlapping storm gravity mains
Unique ID Checks Searches for duplicate values in a table or feature class across the entire geodatabase. Features with the same FacilityID are identified as errors.
Valency Checks Identifies storm manholes that do not have connected outgoing pipes as errors. This is the case where the stormwater terminates at a manhole based on the digitized direction of the pipes connected to it.
