Manage GeoEvent Definitions

The monitoring of the Sub-DMA layer requires a series of GeoEvent Definitions to support the service.

To create these GeoEvent Definitions, log into ArcGIS GeoEvent Manager and navigate to the Site configuration page. Then, follow the steps below to create the following:

DMA_History

  1. Import GeoEvent Definition.
  2. Configure the Import GeoEvent Definitions:
    • ArcGIS Server Connection: <Service Connection>
    • Folder: NighttimeFlow
    • Service Name: DMA (FeatureServer)
    • Layer: DMAHistory
    • Unique Identifier Field: DMAID
  3. Modify the GeoEvent Definition to include the following fields only:
    • DMAID
    • OBSGPM
    • EXPGPM
    • DIFFGPM

Sub_District_Metered_Areas

  1. Import GeoEvent Definition.
  2. Configure the Import GeoEvent Definitions:
    • ArcGIS Server Connection: <Service Connection>
    • Folder: NighttimeFlow
    • Service Name: DMA (FeatureServer)
    • Layer:Sub District Metered Areas
    • Unique Identifier Field: DMAID

SubDMAUpdate-Out

  1. Copy the Sub_District_Metered_Areas definition and rename to SubDMAUpdate-Out
  2. Modify the GeoEvent Definition to include the following fields only:
    • DMAID
    • DIFFGPM
    • OBSGPM
    • CURGPM
    • PREVGPM
    • PREVGPM1
    • LASTREAD
