Create a layout for your beach landing plan.
To create a layout, complete the following task from the task list:
- Create a Beach Landing Layout
- Change the Map Title – Edit the map name.
- Change the Map Description – Edit the map description.
- Change the Time Zone – Edit the time zone for the times in the marginalia.
- Classify the Document – Edit the classification markings for the top marker.
- Classify the Document – Edit the classification markings for the bottom marker.
- Label Land Features – Create annotation markings for land features.
- Label Water Features – Create annotation markings for water features.
- Annotate Image Collection Time – Annotate the background imagery collection time.
- Annotate Tidal Range – Input the vertical difference between high and low tide.
- Annotate Low Tide Time – Input the low tide time prior to/after the image collection time.
- Annotate High Tide Time – Input the high tide time prior to/after the image collection time.
- Update Organizational Logo – Change the picture in the upper left for your organization.
- Indicate Extent – Edit the extent indicator in the inset map from the Element Pane.
- Organize the Beach Landing Layout – Organize the items in the layout that are automatically generated when the map is created.
- Save the Project – This is an automatic save step (it runs without user input) to ensure that no work is lost.
