CCM and off-road parameter table fields

maotVehicleParameters

This table describes the vehicle capabilities.

Field Name Data Type Alias Description
OBJECTID Object ID Unique row ID number
classname Text Representative Class Name Can be used to set vehicle categories
name Text Vehicle Name This is the name of the vehicle and is used to distinguish from other vehicles in the table. The name field is used to select the vehicle in geoprocessing tools.
weight Double Vehicle Weight (tons) Vehicle weight in tons(where 1 ton = 2,000 pounds).
maxkph Double Maximum KPH Maximum vehicle speed in kilometers per hour.
onslope Double Maximum On Road Slope % The maximum slope (in % slope) that the vehicle can handle on a paved surface.
offslope Double Maximum Off Road Slope % The maximum slope (in % slope) that the vehicle can handle on an unimproved surface.

maotLandCover

This table describes how vegetation will affect a vehicle's speed.

Field Name Data Type Alias Description
OBJECTID Object ID Unique row ID number
f_code Text f_code Vegetation/land use code following DIGEST FACC coding.
Description Text Description Short description of the f_code type
f3min Double Minimum Veg. Roughness Minimum roughness value for the f_code type. The value range is 0.0 (impassible vegetation) to 1.0 (vegetation has no effect).
f3max Double Maximum Veg. Roughness Maximum roughness value for the f_code type. The value range is 0.0 (impassible vegetation) to 1.0 (vegetation has no effect)

maotSoils

This table describes how the soil condition will affect vehicle's speed.

Field Name Data Type Alias Description
OBJECTID Object ID Unique row ID number
soilcode Text soilcode A unique look up ID name for the soil type. This field is used to match the soil roughness values in this table to soil features.
f4wet Double Wet Soil Speed Degradation The speed degradation value when the soil is wet. The value range is 0.0 (impassible soil condition) to 1.0 (soil as no effect).
f4dry Double Dry Soil Speed Degradation The speed degradation value when the soil is dry. The value range is 0.0 (impassible soil condition) to 1.0 (soil as no effect).

maotSurfaceRoughness

This table describes how the surface conditions will affect vehicle speed.

Field Name Data Type Alias Description
OBJECTID Object ID Unique row ID number
roughnesscode Text roughnesscode Unique surface roughness ID used as a look up value to match to surface roughness features.
f5 Double Surface Roughness Factor The speed degradation value due to surface material. The value range is 0.0 (large rock outcrops are impassible) to 1.0 (wellgraded or hard-packed surface).
