Create a New Plan

Add features for your own vehicle check point plan.

To create a new plan, complete the following tasks and steps from the task item:

  1. Select Area of Interest
    • Open VCP Plan Map – Edit the VCP Plan Map.
    • Zoom to Area of Interest – Locate the area of interest for your vehicle check point.
  2. Add Land Equipment
    • Add Land Equipment – Select the equipment type and digitize the location.
    • Adjust Equipment Attributes – Add additional information or change attributes.
    • Save Edits – Save your progress.
    • Create Templates – Create templates for equipment that are not present in the feature list.
    • Save Project – Save your progress.
  3. Add Point Features
    • Add Point Features – Select the point type and digitize the location.
    • Adjust Feature Attributes – Add additional information or change attributes.
    • Save Edits – Save your progress.
    • Create Templates – Create templates for features that are not present in the feature list.
    • Save Project – Save your progress.
  4. Add Control Measure Lines
    • Add Control Measures – Select the Control Measure and digitize the line.
    • Adjust Control Measure Attributes – Add additional information or change attributes.
    • Save Edits – Save your progress.
    • Create Templates – Create templates for control measures that are not present in the feature list.
    • Save Project – Save your progress.
  5. Add Line Features
    • Add Line Features – Select the line type and digitize the point.
    • Adjust Line Attributes – Add additional information or change attributes.
    • Save Edits – Save your progress.
    • Create Templates – Create templates for lines that are not present in the feature list.
    • Save Project – Save your progress.
  6. Add Area Features
    • Add Area Features – Select the area type and digitize the point.
    • Adjust Area Attributes – Add additional information or change attributes.
    • Save Edits – Save your progress.
    • Create Templates – Create templates for areas that are not present in the feature list.
    • Save Project – Save your progress.
