Address Crowdsourcing is a configuration of ArcGIS and a JavaScript application that allows the general public to contribute missing site address locations and provide citizen contact information for current addresses. This interactive web application includes a simple tool to review existing addresses and submit new address and contact information.
Address Crowdsourcing can be used by planning and zoning, building, utility, public safety, or other local government organizations to enlist members of the general public in the continuous improvement of address information and contact information across the community. The contact information (for example, name, phone, SMS, and email) can then be used to supplement emergency alert, Reverse 911, and other community notification programs.
Address Crowdsourcing requires specific technical experience and software.
