Set up editing map

The Campus Editing map is used to collect and manage building, interior space, and related exterior campus data. Before you begin editing, add the Editor toolbar to the editing map so you can access the tools and features of the add-ins.

To add the toolbars, complete the following steps:

  1. Browse to the MapsandGeodatabase folder and open CampusEditing.mxd.
  2. In ArcMap, open the Editor toolbar by browsing to Customize > Toolbars > Editor.
  3. In ArcMap, open the Attribute Assistant toolbar by browsing to Customize > Toolbars > Attribute Assistant.
  4. Begin using the editing map.

When you're ready to use the editing map with your data, start by downloading the ArcGIS for Local Government Information Model. It can be used to create the empty geodatabase you'll need to migrate your data.
