Overview

The Campus Place Finder solution gives employees, students, and visitors a way to locate a building space, and provides employees with a way to review information typically stored in an organization's human resources and facilities management database.

Campus Place Finder can also be configured to support a web-based service request application used by facilities management, public works agencies, or other organizations to deliver a service request application for a building or campus. In organizations that have deployed an automated system (CRM/CMMS systems) to track service requests and work activities, the online requests can be routed to staff responsible for their resolution. If an automated system is not present, a manual service ticket can be created and routed to the appropriate staff.

You can configure the Campus Place Finder application in your environment using the sample data. In doing so, you'll learn how to publish map and feature services using ArcGIS and deploy a JavaScript application using your organization's data.
