Overview

Crime Analysis can be used to conduct a series of key analysis functions (for example, Scan, Analyze, Respond, and Assess). Crime Analysis includes an ArcGIS Pro Add-in that organizes existing geoprocessing tools used in crime analysis workflows, and provides several new tools that support data management, tactical and strategic analysis, investigative analysis, and information sharing needs. The tools are provided in ArcGIS Pro context menus and on a single ribbon that simplifies their use by crime analysts.

  • Resolved an issue where string files in some languages were incorrectly displaying partial English translation strings.

June 2019
  • Added new Repeat and Near Repeat analysis tools (previously included in stand-alone ArcMap solution template).
  • Added a series of cell phone analysis tools that support investigative analysis of device communication (previously included in stand-alone ArcMap solution template).
  • A resolution to a bug in the Calculate Prediction Zone tool does not run in ArcGIS Pro (BUG-000117315).
  • Added a series of maps to the Crime Analysis ArcGIS Pro project package that support cell phone and repeat and near repeat analysis workflows.
  • A resolution to a bug in the Import Records tool where using a versioned feature class caused the following error "objects in this class cannot be updated outside of an edit session"(BUG-000119947).
  • Added the XY Table to Point and Geocode Addresses tools to the Add Data button in the Crime Analysis ribbon.
  • Added support for German and Polish languages (ArcGIS Pro 2.4 or later only).
