Create feature layer view

Drug Activity Manager allows public safety personnel to monitor, verify, and assign reports of suspected drug activity to internal law enforcement staff. The following view of the Drug Activity Reporter feature layer must be created to allow existing reports to be viewed, modified, and deleted.

Drug Activity Manager view

To create the Drug Activity Manager feature layer view, complete the following steps:

  1. Sign in to your ArcGIS organization.
  2. Create a hosted feature layer view of the Drug Activity Reporter feature layer. Add the following title, tags, and summary when creating a new hosted feature layer view:
    • Title: Drug Activity Reporter_manager
    • Tags: Public Safety, Drug Activity, Community Policing, Drug Tips, Police, Law Enforcement.
    • Summary: Reports of suspected drug activity in the community.
  3. Edit the hosted feature layer view item details:
    • Thumbnail Image: Your image.
    • Editing: Enable editing and Keep track of who created and last updated features.
    • What kind of editing is allowed: Add, update, and delete features.
    • What features can editors see: Editors can see all features.
    • What features can editors edit: Editors can edit all features.
  4. Share the view with users inside your organization responsible for managing reports of suspected drug activity in the community.
