Residential Comp Finder

Create map

The Residential Comp Finder application consumes maps that are accessible to the general public and named users in your ArcGIS Online organization. Create a Sales map and share it with the general public, real estate listing agents and appraisers. Business owners and other interested parties can then access the Residential Comp Finder application from a desktop computer, tablet, and smartphone.

Sales map

To create an ArcGIS Online Sales map, complete the following steps:

  1. Sign in to your ArcGIS Online organization.
  2. Create a map to display recent sales, by completing the following workflow:
    • Choose a basemap
    • Add the Sales layer to the map
    • Configure pop-up for each layer
    • Save the map as Sales and add the following tags and enter a summary:
      • Tags: Sales, Tax Parcels, Recent Sales, Residential Comp Finder.
  3. Disable editing on the Sales layers.
  4. Save the map and share it with everyone.
  5. Browse to the Sales map and edit the item details:
    • Thumbnail image: Your image.
    • Description: This map contains recent sales used in the Residential Comp Finder application.
