The Site Selector application consumes maps that are accessible to the general public and named users in your ArcGIS Online organization. Create a site selector map and share it with business owners and corporations interested in site and building information. Business owners and other interested parties can then access the Site Selector application on desktop computers as well as tablet and smartphone devices.

To create an ArcGIS Online Site Selector map, complete the following steps:

1. Sign in to your ArcGIS Online organization.
2. Create a map to display buildings and sites, by completing the following workflow:
   • Choose a basemap.
   • Add the Buildings and Sites layers to the map.
   • Configure pop-up for each layer.
   • Save the map as Site Selector and add the following tags and enter a summary:
     • Tags: Development Sites, Vacant Land, Site Selector, Economic Development
3. Disable editing on the Buildings and Sites layers.
4. Save the map and share it with everyone.
5. Browse to the Site Selector map and edit the item details:
   • Thumbnail image: Your image.
   • Description: This map contains available buildings and sites used in the Site Selector application.
