The Tax Map Book editing map is used for the production of tax map atlas pages and a tax map book. Before you begin, add the Data Driven Pages toolbar to the map so you access the tools for creating a map book.

To add the toolbar, complete the following steps:

1. Browse to the MapsandGeodatabase folder and open TaxMapBook.mxd.
2. In ArcMap, open the Data Driven Pages toolbar by browsing to Customize > Toolbars > Data Driven Pages.
3. Begin using the map.

When you're ready to use the editing map with your data, start by downloading the ArcGIS for Local Government Information Model. It can be used to create the empty geodatabase you'll need to migrate your data.
