The Local Government add-ins share a common code base and configuration file. To function correctly, install the same version of each add-in on your machine. Remove previous versions installed on your machine and back up the configuration file before installing the Local Government add-ins below.
Attribute Assistant Add-in
The Attribute Assistant Add-in uses a series of predefined methods to automatically populate attributes when updating or adding new features to the geodatabase. For example, one method automatically populates an Event ID on each item placed on the map. Other methods help maintain the integrity of your special event data by populating the last editor and last update date on each feature.
To install the Attribute Assistant Add-In, complete the following steps:
- Close any open or running ArcGIS applications.
- Using Windows Explorer, browse to the Application folder.
- Double-click AttributeAssistant.esriAddIn to run the installer.
- Click the Install Add-In button.
