Author and share your geographic content

ArcGIS for Water includes a series of focused information products you can deploy in your organization. The focused maps and apps should be deployed with your own data and will help you address key business challenges in your organization.

To author and share geographic content, complete the following steps:

1. Using an Internet browser, go to ArcGIS Online or Portal for ArcGIS and sign in with your publisher account.
2. Add existing items to your organization or publish your maps and data as web services to your organization. At a minimum, each item description should include the following:
   • Name
   • Icon
   • Summary
   • Description
   • Tags
3. Share the items with an appropriate group you created.

Create your water utility user accounts

To create water utility user accounts, complete the following steps:

1. Using an Internet browser, go to ArcGIS Online or Portal for ArcGIS and sign in with your administrator account.
2. Create a user account for each user in your organization and add users to the appropriate groups.
