The Water Outage template provides maps and apps organized into groups to enable common water outage workflows.
Report a Leak
Report a Leak is an app designed to view water assets and add or edit reported water leaks.
Report a Leak Mobile
Report a Leak Mobile is a map designed for use on a phone or tablet in the field to view water assets and add or edit reported water leaks.
Leak Assignment
Leak Assignment is a ArcGIS Workforce project for managing activities related to reported leaks. It is designed for operation managers to create and manage work assignments and for mobile workers to review and complete assignments in the field.
Leak Investigator
The Leak Investigator map is designed for mobile workers to validate and provide additional information on a reported leak. It is configured using ArcGIS Collector so field workers can view the water system and report and validate leaks from the field.
Utility Isolation Trace
Utility Isolation Trace is an app for identifying and managing the impact of a leak on the water system, customers, and fire service. It is preconfigured to include layer-specific searches. You are required to configure the network trace widget to finalize the configuration.
Water Outage Manager
The Water Outage Manager app is designed to review and manage the saved isolation outage events. Additionally, other outage events, such as boil water notices, can be manually added to the Water Outages and Alerts layer.
Leak and Customer Outage
The Leak and Customer Outage dashboard is designed for a manager to monitor the state of outages at a glance. It has been configured with a set of widgets that track active outages, types of outages, and provides a map view of your water system.
Public Outages and Alerts
The Public Outages and Alerts map provides a view of planned and unplanned outages, alerts, and notices to inform the public on the state of their water utility. Only outages that have been flagged to be shared with the public are visible in this map. This ensures that the information shared with the public has been reviewed and verified internally beforehand.
