Railroad Crossing data can be accessed in the field with the ArcGIS Collector and ArcGIS Field Maps apps. Follow the steps below to publish the feature layer required for the Railroad Crossing Inventory map.

Railroad Crossings

To publish the RailroadCrossings feature layer, complete the following steps:

1. Sign in to your ArcGIS organization.
2. Publish a new hosted feature layer in your organization using the RailroadCrossings feature layer and add the following title and tags when creating your new hosted feature layer:
   • Title: RailroadCrossings
   • Tags: Railroad Crossings, Railroads, RRCrossings
3. Edit the feature layer item details:
   • Thumbnail image: Your image.
   • Description: Stores railroad crossings collected by field staff personnel.
   • Editing: Enable editing and Keep track of who created and last updated features.
   • What kind of editing is allowed: Add, update, and delete features.
   • Sync: Enable Sync (disconnected editing with synchronization).
4. Share the feature layer with field staff responsible for inventorying railroad crossings.
