Gas distribution batch job

Below is a list of the data quality control checks, broken out by groups, provided with the Data Reviewer for Gas Utilities. These preconfigured checks are just a sample of the important checks that can be used for validating, maintaining, and ensuring the integrity of gas network data.

Group name Description
Invalid Geometry Checks Identifies features with invalid geometries, such as empty shape columns.
Domain Checks This check validates feature attributes according to values specified for their coded value and range domains in the geodatabase.
Duplicate Geometry Checks This group identifies point or line gas features that are duplicated, or with exact same shapes on top of each other; includes pipe on pipe, service on service, valve on valve, fitting on fitting, valve on fitting.
Invalid Subtype Checks Finds features with subtype values that are not in the data model.
Geometry on Geometry Checks Detects pipe or service lines that overlap.
Self-intersecting Pipe Checks Identifies pipes that self-intersect or reconnect on themselves.
Reducer Connections Checks Identifies reducers that are not connected to exactly two pipe segments.
Reducer with same Pipe Size Checks Finds reducers connected to pipe segments of the same diameter.
Device not Splitting Pipe Checks Finds valves that are not splitting the pipe segment where they connect.
Null Attribute Checks SQL queries to find pipes and services with null attribute values for diameter and material.
Disconnected Device Checks Composite checks that report valves or fittings not connected to either a pipe or a service line.
