Searching for Imagery

After you install and configure your Image Discovery application, you can begin searching for relevant imagery.

  1. Open the Image Discovery application.
  2. Navigate to the general area where your image service has imagery. If you have a world-wide image service, zoom to a specific area to reduce the number of returned records.
  3. Select a search tool to discover your imagery. There are five search tools available:
    • Select Current Extent lets you search within your current viewer extent.
    • Search at a Point lets you search by clicking on a point within your map.
    • Search by a Rectangle lets you search by drawing a rectangle on your map.
    • Search by Bounds lets you upload bounding coordinates.
    • Upload Polygon Geometry lets you upload polygon geometry as your search area.

    Searching your image services give you access to all the records returned within your search criteria. View the table results to filter your imagery further.

  4. Use the filtering options to filter through your imagery.
  5. Double-click a record to zoom to that image.
  6. Use the check box to turn on and view your imagery.

Once you have searched for and selected your imagery; you can perform analysis or check-out your imagery.
