Create an Impact Summary Map that contains key demographic information about populated areas that may be impacted by an incident. The demographic information is added to your content which results in an impacted area service.

To publish an impacted area as a service you will need to either enrich an existing service or you can publish a new service. The services can come from ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS for Server.

Impact Summary Map

To create an Impact Summary map, complete the following steps:

1. Publish your impact polygon data as a hosted feature layer using ArcGIS Online or as a feature service using ArcGIS for Server.
2. Sign in to your ArcGIS Online organization.
3. Create a map that can be used to display impact information, by completing the following workflows:
   • Choose a basemap
   • Add the Impact polygon layer to the map
   • Configure pop-up for the Impact layer
   • Save the map
4. Share the map with everyone.
