The Campus Place Locator application consumes maps that are accessible to the general public and named users in your ArcGIS Online organization. Create a Campus Place Locator map and share it with members of your organization and the general public interested in finding employees, students or building locations. The general public and other interested parties can then access the Campus Place Locator application on smartphones, desktop computers or tablet devices.

To create an ArcGIS Online Campus Place Locator map, complete the following steps:

1. Sign in to your ArcGIS Online organization.
2. Create a map to display interior spaces, by completing the following workflow:
   • Choose a Campus basemap
   • Add the BuildingInterior layers to the map
   • Remove the pop-up on the BuildingInterior layers
   • Save the map as Campus Place Locator and add the following tags and enter a summary:
     • Tags: Campus, Place Finder, Buildings, Interior Spaces
3. Create labels on the BuildingInterior - Interior Spaces Type layer (only required if using hosted feature layers).
4. Save the map and share it with everyone.
5. Browse to the Campus Place Locator map and edit the item details:
   • Thumbnail image: Your image.
   • Description: This map contains interior spaces used in the Campus Place Locator application.
