Community Planning is a configuration of ArcGIS and an ArcGIS Viewer for Flex application that can be used by citizens and other interested parties to create, analyze, and share land-use goals and aspirations for their community during a master planning process. The Community Planning application helps citizens create different implementation plans, evaluate their impact, and shape the future of their community.
This application provides a set of tools that can be used by citizens to create, analyze, and share their community design scenarios during a master planning process. It also allows citizens to analyze how their design will impact public services, the environment, and community character. After a planning scenario has been created, it can be submitted to the community and shared with others via email, Twitter, and Facebook.
