Traffic Calming Inventory data can be accessed in the field with the ArcGIS Collector and ArcGIS Field Maps apps. Follow the steps below to publish the feature layer required for the Traffic Calming Inventory map.

Traffic Calming Devices

To publish the TrafficCalmingDevices feature layer, complete the following steps:

1. Sign in to your ArcGIS organization.
2. Publish a new hosted feature layer in your organization using the TrafficCalmingDevices feature layer and add the following title and tags when creating your new hosted feature layer:
   • Title: TrafficCalmingDevices
   • Tags: Public Works, Traffic Calming Inventory, Median, Speed Bump, Traffic Circle, transportation
3. Edit the feature layer item details:
   • Thumbnail image: Your image.
   • Description: Devices designed to reduce traffic flow and encourage safer, more responsible driving.
   • Editing: Enable editing and Keep track of who created and last updated features.
   • What kind of editing is allowed: Add, update, and delete features.
   • Sync: Enable Sync (disconnected editing with synchronization).
4. Share the feature layer with field staff responsible for inventorying traffic calming devices.
