Publish application on your server

The Election Results application is published by downloading the application, moving the application files to a web server, and registering the application with your ArcGIS Online or Portal for ArcGIS organization.

To publish Election Results as an application, complete the following steps:

Start your Web AppBuilder (Developer Edition) and deploy the app.

Tip:

As you deploy your Web AppBuilder (Developer Edition) application, you may need to modify your proxy file to include references to services used in this application (for example, http://utility.arcgis.com). In addition, use a fully qualified path (for example, http://myserver.arcgis.com/proxy/proxy.ashx) in the proxy parameter of the config.json file.
Browse to the Election Results application and edit the item details:
- Title: Election Results.
- Thumbnail image: Your image.
- Description: The Election Results application can be used to view election results tabulated on election night.
- Tags: Election Results, Election, Precincts, Voting.
Share the application with everyone.
Begin using Election Results by browsing to http://<your server>/ElectionResults/index.html.
